MEANING, METHOD, MEDIUM
Three Connected Projects

Syllabus : Senior Thesis: 2018
Professor: Jessica Svendsen

Meaning: Select a subject that you want to reseach from a number of different perspectives. All of your projects this semester will need to be conceptually connected to this subject. Projects 2 & 3 must explore new mediums, methods, and meaning; and they must be connected to your first project.

Method:  Research. What is the history of your subject? What has been written about it? What context is your subject a part of? How long has your subject existed? Why is it named that? What was there before? What has happened to your subject in the past? What is it's future?

Medium: Printed book or publication. How you define a "book" is up to you and your concept. It could be big or small. It could be loose ephemera or a thick block. It could be constantly updating itself or a sequential projection. I only require that it tells a sequential story (linear or nonliner).
